Bold Prediction #3: Dawson Knox catches at least one touchdown
As mentioned on the previous slide, this week marks the return of Dawson Knox who has missed the previous two weeks after suffering a broken hand against the Tennessee Titans in Week 6. At the beginning of the season, it would have been hard to imagine we would be talking about Knox’s importance to this offense but he has really developed into a key part of this passing attack.
Excluding the game against the Titans, when he left early, he has played 75% or more of the offensive snaps in four of five games, he has had three or more receptions in four of five games, and had a streak of four straight games with at least one touchdown.
While Tommy Sweeney did a good job in place of Dawson Knox the past two weeks, they are not the same player. Knox is more athletic and can put more pressure on defenses vertically. This week, Knox gets back to being one of Josh Allen’s favorite targets and finds the touchdown again in his first game back from the injury.
