G Ed Ingram, LSU

Measurables: 6-3, 315 lbs.

Ed Ingram has been a starter for LSU for the majority of his four years with the program. Although the program has struggled over the past couple of seasons, Ingram has shown to be one of the better players on the roster. Although he does not jump off the page athletically, he has excellent lower body strength, and none of his physical traits are bad; they are just not elite.

The best way to describe how Ingram plays is that he is a jack of all trades but master of none. For some positions, like the one he plays, this is not a bad thing. Ingram is a Day 1 starter who will not bring weakness to your offensive line.

Ingram’s biggest downfall is off-the-field issues that he went through at LSU. Ingram was suspended for a year for violating team rules at LSU, which likely stemmed from him being accused of aggravated sexual assault. Those charges were later dropped, and Ingram has not run into any legal trouble since.

While off-the-field issues are something that Brandon Beane stays away from in most players, Ingram is the type of consistent guard that the Buffalo Bills could use. What makes Ingram a solid prospect is that he does not display a significant weakness, which Buffalo would undoubtedly be intrigued by.
