Buffalo Bills: 4 storylines entering Week 10 against the New York Jets
Does the playcalling change for the offense?
It is safe to say that everyone on the offensive side of the ball, from the players to the coaches, is evaluating every aspect after this game. One of those areas has to include the play-calling by offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
Daboll has been with the Bills since 2018 and over the past few seasons has developed a reputation of being one of the better offensive play-callers in the NFL. He was considered for a number of head coaching openings this past season for his work with Josh Allen and the offense he has helped to develop.
However, against the Jaguars it was clear that this offense has been one-dimensional for too long. As Sean McDermott said on Wednesday, according to Jon Scott, this issue has dated back to last season. and they need to get something from their run game. This will force defenses to respect the run and not allow them to drop back and just defend the passing game.
This week the Bills are going to try and get more from their run game, which leads to the next storyline.
