These are the top storylines for the Buffalo Bills this week against the New York Jets

This was not a place the Buffalo Bills expected to be as they try and bounce back from a tough loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is not something that they have had to deal with much over the past two years and lost in an uncharacteristic way with the offense struggling to score points.

While there are a number of moving parts, the top storyline this week is how Josh Allen plays after one of his worst performances of the year.

Does Josh Allen bounce back this week against the Jets?

There is no question that the Buffalo Bills will only go as far as Josh Allen is able to take them. He has looked like one of the best quarterbacks over the past two seasons but fell into bad habits this past week against the Jaguars.

One of those bad habits, in particular, was not protecting the ball with two interceptions and a fumble. This was the first time he had three or more turnovers in a single game since the 2019 season.

While Josh Allen can’t do it alone and will need help from his offensive line and wide receivers, he is a player that needs to set the tone. This certainly has the potential of being a statement game for Allen as a way to show last week’s game was an anomaly and that he is one of the top quarterbacks in the game.
