5 Buffalo Bills to watch in Week 10 against the New York Jets
Devin Singletary
One area of the offense that struggled last week, and for a majority of the season, has been the run game. The Bills have been able to get by with Josh Allen throwing the ball but when he struggles, the offense really collapses.
The coaching staff is likely re-evaluating their game plan and while the Bills are unlikely to become a run-heavy team, or even a balanced offense in terms of run/pass plays, there are going to be more opportunities this week for the running backs.
With Zack Moss dealing with a concussion, this could mean a big opportunity for Devin Singletary. The third-year running back looked good during the preseason but has seen his opportunities diminish as the season has gone on.
In the first four games, Singletary was getting just over 12 carries a game but in the past four games, that total has been cut in half down to six. If the Bills commit a little more to establishing the run, Singletary would be the likely beneficiary and could have his best game of the season.
