These are the five biggest draft priorities for the Buffalo Bills in the 2022 NFL Draft

The Buffalo Bills 2021 season is roughly at the halfway point and the Bills have a 5-3 record after a frustrating loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. This was a game they were expected to win but on Sunday some of their weaknesses were magnified and ultimately cost them the win.

When looking at this roster, and who is under contract past this season, these are the five biggest draft priorities midway through the 2021 season.

Offensive Guard

The Buffalo Bills offensive line has been an issue to varying degrees throughout the season and against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it was a major issue. The Bills’ depth was tested with Spencer Brown and Jon Feliciano both out and Cody Ford struggled to step into that starting role and help the offensive line.

At this point, the Bills’ two starting guards, Jon Feliciano and Daryl Williams, are both under contract next year. However, neither really is a long-term answer or necessarily a player who couldn’t be challenged for that starting job.

The interior of the offensive line needs to be a focus this offseason for the Buffalo Bills, not only to help protect Josh Allen but also to find some players who can excel in run blocking and open up more running lanes.
