Buffalo Bills stay in the Top 10 in power rankings after Week 9 loss
Bleacher Report: Buffalo Bills slip out of the Top 5
Current Week’s Ranking: 6
Last Week’s Ranking: 2
Last week, Bleacher Report had the Bills ranked the highest at number two but this week they dropped four spots and outside of the Top 5.
"“They might still have the second-best scoring margin in the league,” Gagnon said, “but a 5-3 record following a loss to the lowly Jaguars is quite concerning. Allen has not been consistent this season, and the Bills are quite prone to duds. They’ll be in the mix, but they’re likely feeling Belichick’s breath on their necks.”"
One of the storylines from this loss is that the race for the AFC East has certainly tightened up as Brad Gagnon notes. The New England Patriots won four of their last five and are now one game back in the loss column.
The good news for the Buffalo Bills is that even after a tough loss like they had this past weekend, the season is not lost. They are still 5-3 and leading the AFC East with a good chance to make the playoffs but will have plenty to work on this week.
