CBS Sports: Buffalo Bills drop three spots to sixth

Current Week’s Ranking: 6

Last Week’s Ranking: 3

On CBS Sports, the Buffalo Bills dropped three spots to sixth overall and Pete Prisco writes something that all Bills’ fans already know.

"The Jaguars loss should be a wake-up call for a team that hasn’t played that well in recent weeks. They need to run the ball more. Yes, I said that."

Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and the offense have relied too much on Josh Allen and the passing game. This is not anything new either as the Buffalo Bills have struggled to run the ball dating back to last year.

On Sunday, the Bills running backs (Devin Singletary and Zack Moss) combined for only nine carries, and after their first drive in the second half, they had only one.

It is understandable that the coaching staff doesn’t want to take the ball out of Josh Allen’s hands too much, but establishing at least a threat of a run game will help the Bills quarterback.
