In the offseason, one of the areas the Buffalo Bills wanted to improve was their run game. However, they were specifically looking for more big plays and a running back that had more speed than Devin Singletary and Zack Moss.

The team signed free agent Matt Breida, who early in his career with the San Francisco 49ers, showed that big-play ability. However, his playing time with the Bills has been very limited and he has only 12 snaps on the season, all of which occurred in Week 1 and Week 2. He only has four rushing attempts for four yards.

The Buffalo Bills run game has continued to be a problem, and with Zack Moss suffering a concussion against the Jacksonville Jaguars, this could open the door for more playing time from Matt Breida.
