Efe Obada
Another defensive end who hasn’t contributed much this season is Efe Obada. He was signed as a free agent in the offseason after starting his career with the Carolina Panthers.
During his time with the Panthers, Obada showed he was an efficient pass rusher with 21 pressures last year while playing only 39% of the defensive snaps. This year, Obada has played only 13.75% and been active for three games. He has three total tackles and one QB hit on the season.
The challenge for Obada, and Basham, could just be the Buffalo Bills have too much depth at the position. For Obada, who is playing on a one-year deal, his impact with the Bills may be limited if the first half of the season is an indication.
