Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

Stefon Diggs led the Bills with 85 receiving yards on six receptions but it wasn’t until midway through the third quarter that Josh Allen really started to look his way for most of the game he was stuck on two catches for 25 yards before getting back to back receptions that totaled 27 yards.

In games like today, the play-calling needs to change so the offense runs through their star receiver to get this group back on track. They did that briefly in the second half and when the Bills did they moved the ball and had one of their most productive drives in the second half.

The remaining group was productive but failed to make any big plays. For example, Cole Beasley had eight receptions for only 33 yards with a long of only nine yards. He also had a big drop in the first half around mid-field.

Offensive Line

There is not much to say here other than this was a bad performance from the offensive line. The team had to shuffle players around this week with Spencer Brown and Jon Feliciano out but the depth of the offensive line was supposed to be a strength.

Josh Allen was pressured almost the entire game as he was sacked four times and hit eight times. This is a group that desperately needs Spencer Brown back so Daryl Williams can move inside to guard, where he has played better this year.
