The combination of Devin Singletary and Zack Moss just hasn’t worked for the Buffalo Bills to this point. It remains to be seen if the issue is the players, the blocking up front, or the Bills’ inability to commit to establishing the run.

However, it may be worth exploring some options at the position especially after Zack Moss left the game due to a head injury.

There is no question that Todd Gurley is a big name but the Buffalo Bills would have to understand they are not getting the Gurley who ran for over 2,500 rushing yards and 30 rushing touchdowns between 2017 and 2018.

The Bills would be looking to bring Gurley in to establish a veteran presence at the position. A player who can get 10-12 carries with some regular success and positive yards.

This past season with the Atlanta Falcons, Gurley averaged 13 carries, 45 rushing yards with nine rushing touchdowns in 15 games. While this is not a lot, this is a significant improvement over what the team currently is able to muster with the two running backs.
