Buffalo Bills look to continue asserting their dominance against an inferior opponent as they travel to Florida to battle the Jacksonville Jaguars, Sunday 1 p.m. EST on CBS

Following the 2017 Wild Card matchup against the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars, these teams have been headed in opposite directions. Buffalo has improved consistently year by year, in all but Allen’s rookie season, while the Jags have routinely failed to make the playoffs.

Buffalo’s dawdling start against the Miami Dolphins resulted in a low-scoring first half deadlocked going into the break. However, the Bills were able to make adjustments and pull away late by thoroughly dominating Miami throughout the final periods.

The Jaguars have one of the youngest rosters in the NFL. And this season they have certainly endured growing pains in the form of defeats in the loss column. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence has shown signs of being the answer at the position but the offensive line often has him running for his life. Defensively, Jacksonville is last in the NFL in forcing turnovers and ranks 28th in the league in points allowed per game (29.0). They’ll have their hands full against the number one scoring offense in the league.

This contest may very well be just another day at the office for Josh Allen and company. And Buffalo’s defense should have plenty of opportunities to feast on yet another inexperienced quarterback. Here’s how to watch and a few final thoughts ahead of Week 9.
