Buffalo Bills: 4 bold predictions in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars
Bold Prediction #1: Josh Allen sets season-high mark in passing yards
Last week, Josh Allen didn’t have a big game but was certainly effective with 249 passing yards, 55 rushing yards, and three total touchdowns. The Miami Dolphins defense has been up and down this season but has two excellent cornerbacks in Xavien Howard and Byron Jones that limited Stefon Diggs and Emmanuel Sanders, which was why Cole Beasley was targeted heavily and found success.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have a defense that does pretty good against the run but struggles to stop the pass, which certainly works in favor of the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. The Jaguars are entering this game allowing tied for fourth in most passing yards allowed in the league at 278.1 yards per game.
When considering four of those games have come against Tyrod Taylor, Teddy Bridgewater, Tua Tagovailoa, and Geno Smith, it is easy to see why this could be a big game for Josh Allen. Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll should open the playbook this week and let Josh Allen just throw, setting him up to have one of his best games of the season.
