The Buffalo Bills are going to be without a number of starters on the offensive side of the ball this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, none of the players is necessarily a surprise and it seemed as the week went along that their chances of playing were unlikely.

This group includes starting tight end Dawson Knox, who is working his way back from a broken hand. He suffered the injury back in Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans and has not been able to practice yet each of the past two weeks.

The hope is that he could be back soon as he was running routes and catching passes this week, as seen in this video tweeted by Heather Prusak. This gives Tommy Sweeney another chance to start this week in his place.

The Buffalo Bills offensive line will also look different this week. Last week, the Bills were without Spencer Brown and had to shuffle the group, and this week Brown, as well as Jon Feliciano, are out.

This likely opens up an opportunity for Cody Ford to return to the field. The former second round pick was benched back in Week 4 and seemingly was passed on the depth chart by Ike Boettger, who got the start last week.

Now with Feliciano out, the Buffalo Bills will keep Daryl Williams at right tackle, Ike Boettger at left guard and move Ford back in as a starting right guard.

Cole Beasley, Jordan Poyer listed as questionable for the Buffalo Bills in Week 9

In addition to the three players who were ruled out, the Buffalo Bills had two players listed as questionable. Wide receiver Cole Beasley has been dealing with a rib injury that forced him to miss practice Wednesday and Thursday. However, on Friday he was able to get in a limited practice.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Buffalo Bills look to be pretty healthy with only Jordan Poyer carrying an injury designation into the game Sunday. He suffered a shoulder injury during the week and missed Thursday’s practice.

Similar to Beasley, he was able to practice on a limited basis on Friday and appears to have a good chance of playing against the Jaguars.
