Buffalo Bills: 4 storylines entering Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars
This is not the week for the Buffalo Bills to fix the run game
The Buffalo Bills rank inside the Top 10 in rushing yards per game with 126.6 yards but that is due in large part to Josh Allen and what he contributes with his scrambling ability. When the team has looked to Devin Singletary and Zack Moss, they haven’t been nearly as successful.
While the Buffalo Bills would like to figure out how to make this part of their offense more effective, this is not the week to try and make that happen. The Jaguars’ defense is allowing the seventh-most yards per game in the NFL (386) however they are much better against the run than the pass.
This season, the Jaguars are tied for fourth in terms of passing yards allowed per game at 286.1 per game. This is a week to open up the passing game and let Josh Allen make plays through the air.
