Buffalo Bills without two starting offensive linemen in Wednesday’s practice
The Buffalo Bills were back on the practice field on Wednesday as they begin their preparation for their Week 9 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The injury report this week has grown compared to last week and they were without a few starters on the offensive side of the ball.
The two starters who missed last week’s game, starting right tackle Spencer Brown and tight end Dawson Knox, once again were not able to practice on Wednesday. Brown is dealing with a back injury that he suffered during workouts early last week and wasn’t able to practice at all.
For Knox, he is still trying to work his way back from a broken hand that he suffered in Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans. If he is not able to play, expect Tommy Sweeney to get another start in his place.
Jon Feliciano, Cole Beasley also miss practice for the Buffalo Bills
These two starters were joined by Jon Feliciano, who suffered a calf injury towards the end of their game against the Miami Dolphins. He also was not able to practice on Wednesday and he seems likely to miss this week’s game after McDermott said they are keeping their options open and injured reserve is a possibility, according to Joe Buscaglia.
In addition to Feliciano, the Buffalo Bills had Cole Beasley sitting out of practice due to a rib injury. He was coming off one of his best games of the season but did leave the game briefly after taking a hit. It will be interesting to see if he is able to practice later in the week.
The good news for the Buffalo Bills is that Justin Zimmer was a full participant after dealing with a foot injury last week. He was inactive this past weekend but appears to be past the injury.
The Buffalo Bills will have two more practices before the travel south to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
