The Buffalo Bills starting defensive tackle didn’t have a big stat line against the Miami Dolphins, in fact, he only had two total tackles. However, his impact on this game went beyond the box score as he was constantly getting pressure in the backfield that disrupted the Dolphins’ offense.

On Monday, Sean McDermott was asked about Oliver and the Bills head coach said he thought he played and is starting to understand how to play the position, according to Sal Capaccio.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier was also complimentary of Oliver and said he received the defensive game ball after the game, according to Maddy Glab. While it would be great to see Oliver registering more sacks and impact plays, the Buffalo Bills would be more than happy to get performances like this on a weekly basis.
