Which Buffalo Bills stood out in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins?

There are certainly plenty of criticisms for the Buffalo Bills and their performance against the Miami Dolphins. There is room for improvement that the coaching staff will probably focus on this week during practice.

However, the Bills were able to get the win over the Dolphins and moved to 5-2 on the season. This was due to a number of players who stood out for their play in Week 8, starting with a player who has been quiet for most of the season.

Cole Beasley

Last year, slot receiver Cole Beasley was a key part of this offense almost every week and he set career highs. This year, Beasley hasn’t been consistently involved but after a good game before the bye against the Titans, he followed it up with another excellent performance in Week 8.

He had a season-high this week against the Dolphins with 110 receiving yards on 10 receptions and 13 targets. Beasley was a key reason the Bills offense started sustaining drives and had six first downs against the Dolphins.

One of the strengths of this offense is the depth they have at wide receiver and each week a different player can beat a defense. However, Beasley is showing his role is one that likely can’t be replaced and he needs to be heavily involved every week.
