The Buffalo Bills starting quarterback came dressed as the professional golfer famously nicknamed “Lefty” and Phil Mickelson tweeted his approval.

In the spirit of Halloween, all the Buffalo Bills quarterbacks arrived at Highmark Stadium ahead of their Week 8 matchup with the Miami Dolphins dressed like golfers, as Thad Brown at WROC tweeted out this morning.

Josh Allen was dressed as Phil Mickelson and the professional golfer took notice, providing a compliment for the Bills quarterback and ending his tweet with a Go Bills.

Halloween costumes are not necessarily a surprise for the Buffalo Bills quarterbacks

The Halloween costumes for Josh Allen and the rest of the quarterbacks are seemingly a natural fit. Last month when I interviewed Josh Allen, we had a chance to talk about golf and he said that all the quarterbacks on the Bills are golfers, along with some other players like Tyler Bass, Matt Haack, and Jordan Poyer.

However, Josh Allen did note that among the players on the team, he believes right now he would probably win.

Last year, as Christmas presents for his offensive line Josh Allen provided all of them with new clubs, golf bags, and lessons at a local course in Buffalo.

For Josh Allen, who is trying to become one of the best in his sport, it is not bad to dress like one of the best golfers to play the game. Phil Mickelson has 45 career wins on the PGA Tour, which is tied for eighth all-time. Among those 45 career wins, he has won six majors with three wins at the Masters, two PGA Championships (winning his latest as recently as this year), and one Open Championship.
