The chances the Buffalo Bills are going to have to shuffle their offensive line for this weekend’s game against the Miami Dolphins grew significantly on Friday. The Bills were without their starting right tackle, Spencer Brown, for the third straight practice this week due to a back injury.

Head coach Sean McDermott provided some more context to Brown’s injury before practice on Friday and said it occurred while he was training earlier in the week, according to Jon Scott. The hope is that it can loosen up over the next few days that would allow the third round pick to play against the Dolphins.

As Scott noted in his tweet if Brown is not able to go the Buffalo Bills head coach said they would have to shuffle their offensive line. This likely means that Daryl Williams would move back to right tackle to replace Brown with either Cody Ford or Ike Boettger getting the start at right guard.

Buffalo Bills rule Dawson Knox out for Week 8

As for the rest of the injury report, there wasn’t much in terms of surprises for the Buffalo Bills. The team knew that Dawson Knox was not going to be available this week after suffering a broken hand in the game against the Tennessee Titans.

He is expected to be replaced by Tommy Sweeney and with Sweeney being the only available tight end listed on the 53-man roster, the Bills likely will call up one of the two tight ends on the practice squad tomorrow, either Kahale Warring or Quintin Morris.

The other player on the injury report is defensive tackle Justin Zimmer who has been dealing with a foot injury this week. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before practicing in full on Friday. Justin Zimmer should be available on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
