1. Tom Brady (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

Last Week: 1

There isn’t any change at the top of the MVP power rankings as Tom Brady holds the top sport for a second week in a row. The Bucs leaned on the run game more than usually but Brady still threw for nearly 300 passing yards with two touchdowns and one interception while completing over 80% of his passes.

For the season, Brady now ranks first in passing yards (2,064), second in passing touchdowns (17) and is leading the third highest scoring offense in the NFL. The Bucs also have one of the best team records in the NFL at 5-1.

The fact that the Bucs secondary has struggled as much as it has is going to put Tom Brady and this offense in plenty of shootouts this season. This should only help the veteran continue to put up impressive stats that will keep him in the MVP race for most of the year.
