2. Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)

The player that moved ahead of Josh Allen this week is Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray. This past week he played the Cleveland Browns and while he only had 229 passing yards, he did have four touchdowns and was a big reason for the Cardinals blowing out the Browns by a final score of 37-14.

Murray is the starting quarterback for the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL and that certainly has to count for something. On the season, Murray has 1,741 passing yards (slightly ahead of Allen) with 17 total touchdowns and only four interceptions.

The Cardinals quarterback is going to be one of those players that likely remains in the race for most of the season considering the players he has around him like DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore as well as his ability to make plays with his legs. This week he plays the Houston Texans which sets up to give him a great opportunity to make his case for MVP.
