How will the Buffalo Bills address the absence of Dawson Knox, who will miss time due to a broken hand?  The good news is that they have good options.

The Buffalo Bills have hadn’t to deal with a player missing an extended period of time until this week with the news that Dawson Knox suffered a broken hand against the Tennessee Titans. There isn’t a time table set and having the bye week this week will help limit the amount of games the starting tight end will miss.

However, he almost certainly will miss at least a few games and since the team hasn’t put him on injured reserve, it could only be two games. If they get a better understanding of the timeline and it is going to be more than that, the Bills could add him to injured reserve as it would make sense to create a spot on the roster.

Coming out of their bye week the coaching staff will need to have a game plan on how to address. These are four potential ways they could look to replace Dawson Knox during the time he is out with his injury.
