Buffalo Bills’ KR/PR Isaiah McKenzie

One of the big questions that the Buffalo Bills had entering the season was who would replace former Pro Bowl returner Andre Roberts. The team had an open competition during training camp and preseason but Isaiah McKenzie eventually emerged as the starter.

McKenzie has been excellent in this role and is one of the top returners in the NFL this season. He currently has an average of 27.1 yards per kickoff, which is the fourth highest in the league. McKenzie also is averaging 7.5 yards per punt return, which is 11th among players with five or more returns this season.

In the battle for field position, a good returner plays a big role and McKenzie has done his part to help the Buffalo Bills offense be in good position when starting their drives. Isaiah McKenzie was a big part of the offense the past few seasons as a gadget player but after taking over his return duties, he is now in line to make his first ever Pro Bowl if he continues to play like this the rest of the season.
