The Buffalo Bills are entering their Week 6 matchup with the Tennessee Titans with no players carrying an injury designation. This includes starting linebacker Matt Milano, who was dealing with a hamstring injury.
That injury forced him to miss last week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs but after limited practices on Thursday and Friday, he was a full participant on Saturday.
This will be a big lift for the Bills’ defense as they are set to go up against the NFL’s leading rusher in Derrick Henry. He is a physical running back that usually takes two or three players to bring him down.
The fact that the Titans do utilize more of a ground and pound type offense, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Bills counter by playing more three linebacker sets this week. This would open up some playing time for A.J. Klein, who replaced Milano last week in the starting lineup.
Buffalo Bills have only two players miss Saturday’s practice
The final practice of the week on Saturday had only two players not practicing with Stefon Diggs and Jerry Hughes receiving vet days. The rest of the roster was not only practicing, but full participants.
This includes Taiwan Jones who did not practice Thursday or Friday due to a hamstring injury. He is a key part of their special teams and should be set to return. The Bills also got back Siran Neal on Saturday after he missed Friday’s practice due to an illness.
While this is great news that the Bills don’t have anyone ruled out at this point, it will certainly create a challenge when it comes to the inactives before Monday night’s game. There will likely be a few surprises as the team tries to put together the best game-day roster to matchup with the Titans.
