4. Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers)

Another AFC team that is 4-1 is the Los Angeles Chargers and this is due in large part to their starting quarterback, Justin Herbert. The second-year quarterback is building off an impressive rookie season and through five games has 1,576 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and three interceptions.

This past week against the Browns, Herbert looked almost unstoppable against a very good defense. He finished the game with 398 passing yards, five total touchdowns, and no turnovers.

The Chargers offense looks better this year with Joe Lombardi as their offensive coordinator and Herbert is in full command of that offense with Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, and Mike Williams around him. He is a player that should be in the race all season.
