Matt Breida

The Buffalo Bills added Matt Breida in free agency this offseason to join Devin Singletary and Zack Moss in this backfield. He was expected to bring that speed, big play ability that the other two running backs didn’t show last year.

While Breida was active for the first two weeks of the season, the veteran running back hasn’t been active in any of the past three games. In the two games he did play, he was on the field for only 12 snaps.

Since Breida is on a one-year deal and is a veteran, the Buffalo Bills could try to trade him to a team that needs help at the position. A team like the San Francisco 49ers would make perfect sense as he used to play for the team and had some of the best years of his career there.

They aren’t the only team that could be interested in a veteran running back as the New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, and Baltimore Ravens are also all dealing with injuries that may be interested.
