Can the Buffalo Bills come away with a win in the place their season ended last year?

The Buffalo Bills are preparing for their first primetime game of the season and it is one of the biggest matchups of the year for the entire league. The Bills are preparing to return to the same stadium that their season ended a season ago when they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Entering this game, the Bills have great momentum as they are playing well in all areas of the game. Right now, the defense is leading the way and probably the best defense in the NFL right now after allowing only 11 points per game through the first four weeks. They have two shutouts already this season, an accomplishment only two other teams have done in league history.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, they are struggling a bit and not playing at the level they have shown in prior years. They are 2-2 with wins over the Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles but losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and Baltimore Ravens.

Final Score Prediction: Buffalo Bills 24, Kansas City Chiefs 17

While the Chiefs are only 2-2, they have had a tough slate of opponents to start the year with the Browns, Ravens, and Chargers all considered playoff contenders this year. This is not a game the Bills can take lightly, nor do I think they will.

The key in this game will be what the Buffalo Bills have done to this point which is lean on the defense. This is going to be their toughest opponent to date and will need to prove on Sunday night that their success was not just a product of playing weaker offenses.

I believe they will be able to do that and the offense will lean a little more on the run game to try and limit the amount of time Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs offense will be on the field. This also part of the game, the Bills could have an advantage as this defense is allowing the second most rushing yards per game.

In the end, this is not a high-octane shootout but a methodical chess match between two very good teams. The Bills defense will do just enough to limit the Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills move to 4-1 and put the AFC Championship Game from last year behind them with a win.
