Buffalo Bills have good depth in the secondary

One of the big questions for the Buffalo Bills was the depth in their secondary. This was essentially a question due to the fact that they are inexperienced and their playing time during the regular season was limited.

On Sunday, the Bills had two new starters with Jaquan Johnson replacing Jordan Poyer at safety and Cam Lewis stepping in for Taron Johnson as the starting slot corner. Both players had excellent games with Lewis having five total tackles, one tackle for a loss, and one pass defended while Johnson had three total tackles and one of the four interceptions.

The Buffalo Bills wouldn’t necessarily want to go long stretches at any point this season without Jordan Poyer or Taron Johnson, but the coaching staff should feel confident with either Jaquan Johnson or Cam Lewis in the starting lineup if the need were to arise.
