The Buffalo Bills entered this week’s game without a number of starters on both sides of the ball but it didn’t impact the final score. The Bills dominated their Week 4 matchup with the Houston Texans by a final score of 40-0.

This is the second time in three weeks the Bills have shut out their opponent after a 35-0 win in Miami over the Dolphins in Week 2. The Bills now move to 3-1 on the season with their third straight win and have now outscored their opponents 118-21 during that streak.

The Bills offense didn’t get off to a great start as Josh Allen threw an interception on the very first play they were on the field. After a fourth-down stop by the Buffalo Bills, the Bills offense went three and out but from that point on it was all Buffalo Bills.

Tremaine Edmunds got the team going with an interception of Davis Mills and Josh Allen was able to capitalize with a touchdown pass to Dawson Knox. The Bills would then add a field goal on three of their next four drives to end the half and take a 16-0 lead into halftime.

In the second half, the Buffalo Bills had four consecutive drives that ended in points with Dawson Knox catching his second touchdown, two field goals by Tyler Bass, and then a touchdown run by Mitchell Trubisky.

Even though the Buffalo Bills scored 40 points, the real story is another dominating performance by the Buffalo Bills defense. They held Davis Mills and the Texans’ offense to 109 total yards, forced five turnovers, and sacked Mills three times.

This was a game the Buffalo Bills were supposed to win but there is something to be said about how they won. They controlled this game from almost the opening whistle and will be carrying a great deal of momentum heading into their big showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night.
