WLB Matt Milano
For the second straight week, Matt Milano was one of the players most responsible for Buffalo’s excellent defensive play. After recovering a fumble in Week 2 against the Dolphins, Milano recovered another against the Football Team in Week 3.
The multi-purpose linebacker continues to make plays all over the field for the Bills. His six tackles for a loss are tied for the most in the NFL alongside Denver Broncos star Von Miller.
In addition to a fumble recovery on Sunday, Milano also added one pass defended, one QB hit, five solo tackles and one assisted tackle in the contest.
Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier also discussed how important Milano’s play has been for the team, according to Heather Prusak.
#Bills LB Matt Milano has been all over the field these past 3 games. Against Washington he had a fumble recovery, a PBU, a QB hit & 2 TFL (including that 4th down stop) & I asked Leslie Frazier about Milano's play so far.

Through three games, Milano has been the Bills’ best player on the defensive side of the ball in 2021.
