Buffalo Bills may want to stick with the running game versus this particular opponent

So far this season, Washington’s rush defense ranks in the bottom half of the league. Last week against the New York Giants, they surrendered 163 yards on the ground which includes 95 rushing yards by quarterback Daniel Jones.

The Bills proved against the Dolphins they are capable and willing to run the ball if the matchup permits. Allen has 25 career-rushing touchdowns and has hurt teams with his legs since he was drafted in 2018.

On the season, Devin Singletary has manned the role of RB1. However, he’s only averaging 12 carriers per game. Despite his limited touches, he has found a way to average nearly seven yards per tote; making the most of his opportunities in the run game.

As Allen works himself into gear and figures out how defenses are playing him and the offense this season, it may be a good idea for him to turn around and hand the ball off, especially if Singletary continues to reward Buffalo with his productive play.
