Following a rebound win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 2, the Buffalo Bills look to keep the train rolling against the Washington Football Team on Sunday

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills offense scored five touchdowns last week. And the defense blanked the Miami Dolphins on the scoreboard in a blowout victory. Even after a lopsided win in Miami, Allen believes he has room to improve. “It’s no secret I didn’t play well last week or the week before,” Allen said with the media in his weekly press conference on Wednesday. “There are things I’m still working on. I gotta push through it and find ways to be better for this team.”

Through two games, Josh Allen has completed less than 60 percent of his passes. However, the Bills’ offense hopes to draw from their 2020 campaign against a team that has not played up to their own expectations on the defensive side of the ball.

Washington comes into this matchup mirroring the Bills’ record at 1-1. They feature quarterback Taylor Heinicke, who will make his first road start in the NFL. And stud second-year edge-rusher, Chase Young, who will be looking to improve on his slow start to the season.

Both teams hope to continue their winning ways after earning redemption in Week 2. And with Washington’s defensive struggles and Buffalo’s offensive complications, this matchup may provide a chance for one of these units to return to form. Here’s how to watch and a few final thoughts ahead of Week 3.
