Devin Singletary

For the most part, the defense has been the bright spot for this team. The Buffalo Bills offense, and particularly Josh Allen, hasn’t played exceptionally well (especially in the game against the Steelers).

However, one player who has consistently produced in the first two games has been running back Devin Singletary. In the first two games, Singletary is averaging 12 carries per game which is only two more carries per game over last year’s average of 9.75. He has been much productive though and is averaging two more yards per carry and his per game average in rushing yards has jumped from 42 to 77.

While it is a much smaller sample size, the fact that one of those games came against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who just held the Las Vegas Raiders to 52 rushing yards, is worth noting when looking at Singletary’s performance.

The third-year running back has been running very well and even showed some burst against the Miami Dolphins as he outran their defense for a 46-yard touchdown.

The Buffalo Bills were missing an effective run game last year but Devin Singletary is off to a great start that should give fans confidence that this part of the offense should be much better this season.
