A.J. Epenesa

Another player who is off to a fast start this season is A.J. Epenesa. The second round pick from the 2020 NFL Draft had a lackluster rookie season and was even inactive for the first game of last season.

There were a number of factors that seemed to play into his struggles as a rookie from changing his playing weight to a lack of offseason workouts and preseason. However, in his second season the former Iowa Hawkeye is showing the potential and how good he can be for the Buffalo Bills.

The game against the Dolphins was incredible by A.J. Epenesa as he had nine pressures, which is the second most since last season, and did this on only 34 snaps. He was incredibly effective with the snaps he had in getting to the quarterback and disrupting their gameplan.

While nine pressures are unlikely to expect every game from A.J. Epenesa, what he has shown in the first two games is that he should be a key part of this rotation for years to come.
