These are the inactives for the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills are entering this week healthier than the week prior and with that the team had a few players inactive for today’s game who played last week.

The most notable game is defensive tackle Harrison Phillips, who will miss this week with the return of Star Lotulelei. Last week, Lotulelei was out due to a calf injury but he was questionable this week and will now play in his first game since the 2019 season.

The other player inactive is Efe Obada, which isn’t surprising as he suffered a calf injury in Friday’s practice and was listed as questionable. The fact that Obada is inactive, the Buffalo Bills likely wanted more pass rush from the interior of the line and that is something Justin Zimmer brings to this defense.

The other players inactive are linebacker Andre Smith, defensive end Boogie Basham, and offensive lineman Tommy Doyle. This is the second straight week these three players have been inactive

Gabriel Davis, Zack Moss active for the Buffalo Bills

Two notable players that are active for the Buffalo Bills offense are wide receiver Gabriel Davis and running back Zack Moss. Davis was one of the most productive players in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers with 40 receiving yards and the only offensive touchdown.

However, he suffered an ankle injury in that game and had been limited in practice this week.

The Buffalo Bills also made some changes at running back as they will have four running backs active this week with Zack Moss active this week. The team has typically only had three running backs active on game day and Moss now joins Devin Singletary and Matt Breida as the three backs who will handle most of the work with Taiwan Jones primarily a special teams player.
