Last week, I named four x-factors for the Buffalo Bills and unfortunately, three of them did play a role in the outcome with Levi Wallace, Daryl Williams, and Matt Haack’s performance all being notable.

Wallace was targeted often by Ben Roethlisberger and gave up the only touchdown, even though he was in a pretty good position, and called for two penalties. Daryl Williams, who played well against the Steelers in 2020, struggled to protect Josh Allen along with the rest of the offensive line.

Then there is punter Matt Haack who was involved in the turning point of the game when he had his punt blocked and returned for a touchdown by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

These are three players who may not be discussed in that top tier of players for the Buffalo Bills but their performance clearly had an impact on the outcome of the game.

This week against the Miami Dolphins, there are two players that stand out as x-factors for the Bills and could be the deciding factor in the outcome of the game.
