If Zack Moss is active this week, who does he replace on the game day roster for the Buffalo Bills?

Last week, the Buffalo Bills had second-year running back Zack Moss inactive for the first game of the season. The team elected to go with Devin Singletary, who got a majority of the work, along with Matt Breida and Taiwan Jones.

It wasn’t surprising to see the Bills go with three active running back because this has typically been the number the team has had active on gameday under Sean McDermott. However, the thought was it would be Matt Breida inactive or the team would change what they have done historically and keep four players on the active roster.

On Friday, Sean McDermott said that injuries in training camp played a factor in the decision to have him inactive however he has looked good this week.

This could be an indication that he is active this week but it raises the question of who he replaces on the gameday roster. The Buffalo Bills aren’t dealing with many injuries and on Friday didn’t rule any players out.

This means the team would likely have to make a player who was active, a healthy scratch this week. These are four players that could be in jeopardy of missing Week 2 to make room for Zack Moss.
