Ed Oliver

The former Top 10 pick has been a popular breakout candidate for the Buffalo Bills. He started the year off with a good game against the Pittsburgh Steelers as he recorded three total tackles, one tackle for a loss and one QB hit.

There has been plenty of these moments the first two years in the league where Oliver has a good game and the hope is that this is the start of him turning that corner. However, in those scenarios, there hasn’t been that follow-up game and he has had stretches of multiple weeks where he disappears.

In Week 1, Tagovailoa was sacked twice and hit four times. One of the weak links on this offensive line appeared to be right guard Robert Hunt, who struggled particularly in run blocking against the Patriots. This presents a great opportunity for Ed Oliver to start the year off with two good games.
