The talk on the defensive line leading up to the game will certainly be about some of the younger players at the position like Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa but this first week the team will need the veteran to set the tone.

Jerry Hughes is the player who has been with the Buffalo Bills the longest and he has seen the transformation this franchise has taken over the years to the Super Bowl contender they are today. The Bills have added some good young pass rushers over the years but they will need Hughes to lead the way.

Entering this week, the Buffalo Bills look to have an advantage over the Steelers offensive line with the uncertainty and inexperience they have. Jerry Hughes hasn’t put up big sack numbers during the regular season the past few years but this could be a chance for Jerry Hughes to start the year off well.
