If Josh Allen wins the MVP award this year, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is likely going to be a major reason why. He is one of the best play-callers in the NFL and it was surprising that he didn’t get a head coach job this offseason.

The Bills, and especially Josh Allen, have to be happy he is back and on the sideline. Daboll is the only offensive coordinator that Allen has had at the NFL level and they clearly have a good working relationship.

The Bills quarterback also is comfortable in this scheme and isn’t afraid to speak up. Recently, Allen said he isn’t afraid to say he isn’t running a play if he has concerns.

This confidence in the offensive scheme and what he believes works and doesn’t will only help him surpass what he did last year.
