Number 4: New York Jets

The New York Jets finished fourth last season and it doesn’t look like this is the year they move out of the last spot in the division. However, there is plenty to be optimistic for this franchise as they look to be a team heading in the right direction.

The Jets made a pretty significant change this offseason by firing Adam Gase and replacing him with Robert Saleh as their head coach. They also made a change at quarterback by trading Sam Darnold to the Carolina Panthers and using their second overall pick on Zach Wilson.

They also drafted some good players like Alijah Vera-Tucker and running back Michael Carter while bringing in veterans like wide receiver Corey Davis and defensive end Carl Lawson. However, they have already lost Lawson for the season who suffered a knee injury during practice in training camp.

The Jets will be more competitive in the coming years but they haven’t done enough to move up in the standings in 2021.
