Emmanuel Sanders Revenge Game

The Buffalo Bills didn’t make many changes on the offensive side of the ball but the most notable was the release of John Brown and the subsequent signing of free agent Emmanuel Sanders.

The veteran wide receiver has bounced around as of late after playing for three teams over two seasons after being traded by the Denver Broncos midway through the 2019 season to the San Francisco 49ers. He then played for the New Orleans Saints last year.

However, Sanders started his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010 when they drafted him in the third round. He was seemingly always a second receiving option in his four years in the league and it wasn’t until he signed as a free agent with the Broncos that he really had that breakout season.

While it isn’t necessarily recent that Sanders played for the Steelers, they do still have a number of the same people when he was there, like quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and head coach Mike Tomlin. This could be a big game for the veteran wide receiver while he wants to make a good first impression playing in front of BillsMafia but also show a former franchise what they moved on from.
