Buffalo Bills win the AFC East by four games

For close to two decades, the AFC East was run by the New England Patriots. The Bills hadn’t won the division since 1995 but that streak ended this past season. The Buffalo Bills won the division by three games over the Miami Dolphins, thanks in large part to going undefeated against their division rivals.

As I mentioned earlier, the Buffalo Bills are entering this season with those same pieces in the front office, on the coaching staff, and on the field. They have a familiarity that is rare to find in the NFL and should pick up right where they left off.

However, the other teams in AFC East have serious questions that are going to need to answer this season, and all have a big question at the most important position. Two teams (Jets, Patriots) are entering with rookie quarterbacks while the Dolphins have Tua Tagovailoa entering his second season but he didn’t play a full rookie season last year.

It is going to take some time for these other teams to work through some of these concerns which will allow the Buffalo Bills to hit their stride early in the season and run away from the other competitors in the AFC East.
