It is no surprise that the defensive end position is the most talked about position because of how deep and talented this group has looked. The Buffalo Bills used their first two picks in the 2021 NFL Draft by selecting Greg Rousseau and Boogie Basham. At the time, Brandon Beane said that Mario Addison would be a big part of this team in 2021 even with the new additions.

However, plenty has changed over the past few months and Addison may not need to be relied upon as much as Beane might have initially thought. The reason is the emergence of Rousseau, who has looked tremendous this preseason, and even got the start over Addison in the game against the Packers.

Addison is an older veteran who is likely not to factor into the Buffalo Bills plans past this season. When considering some of the younger defensive ends on the team, it would make sense that Mario Addison would be the one that the Bills try to trade.
