Buffalo Bills: 4 players who stood out against the Green Bay Packers
Justin Zimmer
As the Buffalo Bills work to cut the roster down to 53-players, the defensive tackle is one that has the most uncertainty. One of the reasons is that the defensive end position will have a big impact on how many defensive tackles the Bills keep.
If the Buffalo Bills keep seven, which is possible, this will likely mean only three defensive tackles. However, if the Bills keep six defensive ends, this opens up a roster spot for an extra defensive tackle.
One of the players that have seemingly been on the roster bubble, and are probably impacted the most by this roster construction question, is Justin Zimmer. He is a player that has looked good during camp and played very well against the Packers. Zimmer finished the game with five total tackles, one sack, and two QB hits.
While plenty can happen between now and then, Justin Zimmer is a player who it seems has done enough to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.
