The Buffalo Bills closed out the preseason with a 19-0 victory over the Green Bay Packers.

The Buffalo Bills only had one preseason game in front of the hometown fans and saved their best performance for the final preseason game. This was the first, and only, game that the Buffalo Bills elected to play a majority of their starters, which included quarterback Josh Allen.

When Sean McDermott announced that the starters would be playing in this game, it remained to be seen just how long they would be on the field. For Josh Allen, and most of the starters, they played most of the first half and Allen finished the day completing 20 of 26 passes for 194 yards and two touchdown passes.

The touchdown throws were impressive, even if fans have come to expect them from Josh Allen. The first touchdown by Allen came on the opening drive when he threw a 31-yard strike to Gabriel Davis, who got a step on his defender across the middle of the field.

The second touchdown was towards the end of the first half as Allen had to stand in the pocket and take a hit as he found running back Zack Moss. He was able to throw the all in a tight window and put it in a position that only the second-year running back could get it.

The Buffalo Bills have now finished the preseason 3-0 and this is the second consecutive year they went undefeated after going 4-0 in 2019 (there were no preseason games in 2020 due to the pandemic).

The Buffalo Bills now turn their focus to the regular season and the Pittsburgh Steelers, who they will face Week 1 in Highmark Stadium. However, prior to that, the team will need to cut the roster down to 53-players, which will need to be done by 4 PM on Tuesday.
