These are four top observations from the Buffalo Bills win over the Green Bay Packers.

For the second straight week, the Buffalo Bills put together a dominant performance on both sides of the ball with a 19-0 victory over the Green Bay Packers. This week though was different as the Bills got a chance to see most of their starters play significant snaps, which included Josh Allen.

These are the top observations from the Bills win over the Packers on Saturday.

Josh Allen doesn’t look like he will regress

The top headline will certainly be how Josh Allen looked in his first live action of the 2021 season. The talk of training camp has been how good Josh Allen has looked and he certainly showed why against the Packers.

The Buffalo Bills made sure to get Josh Allen plenty of work early as they called pass plays on every down on their opening drive. Allen would go 10 of 11 for 90 yards and finding Gabriel Davis for a 31-yard touchdown.

Brian Daboll didn’t slow the play calling down and continued to allow Allen to throw the ball and he finished the game going 20 of 26 for 194 passing yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He was also sacked once, but that was due to Allen slipping in the pocket.

When it was announced that Josh Allen would start, I was concerned because I didn’t feel like Josh Allen needed the preseason to be ready for the season. The chance of injury was too great to risk getting Allen some live snaps.

After this performance, I still don’t think Josh Allen needed to play in this preseason but it was certainly great to see him play as well as he did.
