Steven Sims

This last player is one that could have a wide range in terms of workload in this preseason game against the Green Bay Packers. The Buffalo Bills signed wide receiver Steven Sims earlier in the week due to potential availability injuries, especially for players at slot receiver.

This in theory could mean the Bills have to lean on Sims, who recently was with the Washington Football Team. He is a fast, shifty wide receiver and brings a similar skill set that Isaiah McKenzie has and could fill that role as a gadget player. The biggest issue for Sims has always been ball security with six fumbles on 71 career touches.

However, knowing that Sims has had less than a week of practice it remains to be seen how much of the offense he knows. This could be the one hurdle that stands in his way from seeing significant playing time or being more of an emergency player at the position.

The potential is certainly there for him to eventually become a big part of this team and he could find his way onto the practice squad this year. Hopefully, he will have a chance to get some playing time to show what he can do in this offense.
